WHAT WE DO

We specialize in custom-designed wedding cakes, cupcakes and other gourmet sweets for your special occasions. We work with every client to design a unique cake to match their individual style and taste. 

IG Cake Design is based in Burlington, ON and serve the greater Hamilton and Toronto areas.

Each cake is made from scratch using only premium ingredients. We believe that cakes need to taste just as good as they look, and they should look exquisite.

Pricing is by serving, and varies depending on complexity of design, starting from $4/serving.

Ivana Grbavac - The Designer

I have always had a love for everything sweet - baking, decorating, and especially devouring! However, apart from baking with my mother, I had never had any formal training in the culinary arts.

In early 2008, I came across the prestigous Bonnie Gordon School in Toronto, and was immediately inspired to take courses. I began with the Designer Cupcakes class, and became quickly obsessed with everything cake. I have now taken almost every class Bonnie offers, and continue to develop my skills and techniques.

My early experiences in the kitchen with my mother taught me the secret to amazing dessert: quality ingredients, and attention to detail. This is why I use nothing but the best ingredients available, and customize all cakes specific to the style of the client.
